Group Sales Development Manager
This role is a high-impact, hands-on role designed to support operational excellence, improve commercial performance, develop group capability, and help modernise our dealership operations across multiple sites. If you are an ambitious automotive manager who thrives on improving performance, developing people, implementing new ways of doing things, and delivering results — we would love to hear from you.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Director of Sales, this role will be key in improving sales performance, enquiry conversion, customer experience, profitability, and process discipline across the group. This is a hands-on operational role focused on coaching, accountability, lead management, CRM discipline, and developing high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance across the group
- Improve enquiry conversion and lead management processes
- Increase finance and product penetration
- Support underperforming dealerships with targeted recovery plans
- Coach and develop Sales Managers, Executives, and support teams
- Improve CRM standards, follow-up activity, and sales process execution
- Review KPIs, lost sales, stock turn, profitability, and conversion data
- Enhance customer journey standards and online reputation
- Support implementation of AI tools, digital retailing, and automation systems

Pay: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
