Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport supplies or move between job sites
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans accurately
- Valid driving license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on achieving smooth finishes and flawless decoration work
- Good physical fitness for standing, climbing scaffolding, lifting materials, and working in various environments
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction painting activities
