Are you an experienced Machine Setter, Machine Operator or Production Technician who enjoys working with machinery (pneumatic ideally) rather than simply operating a production line?
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience of setting, adjusting and maintaining manufacturing equipment to join our Production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills, working across a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery within a growing manufacturing business.
If you have experience carrying out machine changeovers, making mechanical adjustments, fault finding and keeping production running efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.
This role is based on a basic 42-hour working week of Monday to Thursday. The advertised hourly rate includes a £0.75 per hour shift allowance which covers the requirement to work two additional 10-hour Friday shifts at single time per month.
Aztec Aerosols Ltd has been in operation since 1995 undertaking Aerosol Contract Filling for customers. Based on Gateway in Crewe since 1999 the site has grown in size and market presence. In 2017, the business was acquired by the Instarmac group plc, a privately owned manufacturing business, who are an award winning Times top 100 business who supply products to the Highway maintenance, Tiling, Commercial flooring and External hard landscaping markets to most continents across the world.
In 2021 major investment was made to the Aztec site in a new high speed filling line capable of up to 180 cans a minute, significantly increasing output capability to over 2.5 million cans per month. This combined with the support and investment the parent group can offer has improved production efficiencies, process improvement and ultimately customer experience.
This is an exciting time to join our business and be part of our success!
