A large, well-regarded nursing home in Inverness is looking to appoint an experienced Home Manager to lead the service and drive continued high standards of care.
The Role
You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, overseeing quality of care, regulatory compliance, staffing, and overall performance. This is a key leadership role within a large home, ideal for someone who thrives on managing complexity and leading a substantial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for the operational, clinical, and financial performance of the home
- Ensuring the highest standards of resident care and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Leading, developing, and supporting a large staff team, including nursing and care staff
- Managing occupancy, budgets, and quality outcomes
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, regulators, and the wider community
- Acting as a visible, hands-on leader within the home
What We're Looking For
- RGN qualification desirable, or a minimum of 2 years' experience managing nursing homes
- Strong clinical and/or operational leadership background within nursing/residential care
- Sound knowledge of CQC/Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care
