Key Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing adhering to manufacturer standards
- Complete all work efficiently whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to ensure precise repairs
- Keep thorough and detailed service records for each vehicle
- Follow health and safety protocols along with manufacturer guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when required
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, demonstrating strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- MOT Tester certification is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional approach with excellent communication capabilities
- A dedicated team player with a passion for high-standard vehicle servicing
