Under 2s Room Leader
A good room leader in Early Years should be a leader who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
Lynwood Day Nursery is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of our Under 2s, our Caterpillars and Butterflies.
Our ideal candidate should be leading by example, showing, guiding, role modelling our team of experienced practitioners so the hole team ensures an excellent standard of teaching and very warm interactions with our babies.
The world of our Caterpillars and Butterflies is defined by rapid sensory exploration, early communication (mostly non-verbal), learning through play and freedom through movement.
For these curious and adventurous years of being a baby, every object and every sound is a new discovery and our babies make sense of their environment through safe, hands-on activities and grown ups who build an emotional attachment to them.
This role requires someone with a big heart, excellent communication skills with grown ups and children; a person who is not being afraid to maybe have difficult conversation with their team but with being compassionate and of course understanding how babies learn at this crucial age.
This is not an entry position nor an apprenticeship role and we won't be able to consider those candidates.
