The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Hygiene Operative to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our low care areas, including offices, staff facilities and communal spaces within a food manufacturing environment.
While this is not a production cleaning role, it does require working to food safety standards, including the use of PPE and following hygiene procedures to support safe food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, staff areas, toilets, corridors and entrances
- Carry out sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising tasks
- Manage waste and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleanliness standards in line with food manufacturing requirements
- Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly
- Follow hygiene procedures, PPE requirements and health & safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment
- Willingness to follow hygiene, PPE and safety procedures
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
