About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Seasonal Assistant to join our team during the busy season. This is a hands-on role supporting our General Assistant with holiday cottage changeovers, laundry, hot tub cleaning and general site upkeep. The role would suit a student, school leaver, or anyone looking for seasonal work in a friendly and supportive environment. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. Hours will be provided on a rota basis depending on business needs and cottage occupancy levels.
Working hours will typically fall between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend work). Please note that this is not a full-time Monday to Friday position and work will be scheduled as required throughout the season. With a view to extend to a permanent position, if required.
Main Duties
- Assisting with the cleaning and preparation of holiday cottages between guest stays
- Making beds and preparing cottages ready for guest arrivals
- Stripping beds and collecting and tracking used linen and towels
- Preparing and distributing clean linen for cottage changeovers
- Cleaning and maintaining hot tubs (full training provided)
- Replenishing guest supplies and consumables
- Helping to keep communal areas clean and tidy
- Carrying out light gardening duties such as watering, weeding, sweeping, and general tidying
- Assisting with occasional ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the site
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to management
