Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in After school care, This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and the drive to manage and support the development of young children in a nurturing environment.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in an Out of school care setting.
- Develop and implement engaging activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive environment.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely and caring manner.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to play .
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the well-being of all children.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or Out of school care setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's experiences.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering the growth of young minds.
