We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber/ labourer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an Assistant/apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learning essential skills and techniques that will help you develop into a experienced tradesperson.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of bathroom plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Use hand tools and power tools or learn safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Assist lead fitter in complete installations.
- Perform basic tasks as required.
- Carry out heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- good common-sense
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools prefered.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
- A valid driving licence would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong enthusiastic work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
