We are seeking an experienced and reliable 360 Plant Operator (Above 10 Tonnes) to join our civil engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality site works, operating heavy plant safely and efficiently, and supporting the smooth delivery of projects across all sections.
This project involves the construction of a new battery plant, with an extensive programme of civil engineering and infrastructure works scheduled over the next two years.
Responsibilities
- Operate 360 Excavators above 10 tonnes safely and efficiently in line with site requirements.
- Carry out excavation, grading, trenching, lifting operations, and material handling.
- Work alongside groundworkers and site teams to deliver planned works safely and to programme.
- Conduct daily plant checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Comply with site safety rules, RAMS, and company procedures at all times.
- Assist with general site duties where required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping around plant and work areas.
- Support supervisors and colleagues to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating 360 Excavators above 10 tonnes within civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Competent and confident operating heavy plant in a busy site environment.
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
Essential
- CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (Above 10 Tonnes) including lifting ops.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence
