The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with a variety of SEN profiles, including Autism, complex needs, communication difficulties, learning disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health needs
- Create a safe, structured, and inspiring classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and wider professionals
- Monitor progress and adapt learning approaches to help every pupil achieve their potential
About You
We are looking for a committed and compassionate teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status or has strong UK-based SEN teaching experience
- Has experience working within a specialist school or SEN setting (desirable)
- Understands the importance of personalised learning and positive behaviour support
- Is patient, creative, resilient, and passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and help them develop confidence and independence
