We are seeking a Motor factor warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. We are a local, family-owned motor factor offering a friendly and supportive place to work. Duties
- Picking customer orders accurately and preparing parts for delivery.
- Receiving supplier deliveries, checking parts against paperwork and putting stock away in the correct locations.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels by checking quantities against the computer system and reporting any discrepancies.
- Checking customer returns and identifying whether items are suitable for resale, warranty return or surcharge.
- Supporting the trade counter when required, including serving trade customers, answering basic enquiries and helping to maintain a friendly, professional service.
- Keeping the warehouse and stock areas tidy, organised and safe.
Skills
- Autopart/Autocat experience would be Ideal but not essential
- Customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Valid driving licence for occasional deliveries as required
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating within a team setting
