Duties
- Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to deliver laundry orders to residential and commercial clients within designated routes
- Load and unload laundry items, including heavy linens and garments, with proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any delays or issues to the dispatch team promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role, preferably with van or commercial vehicle operation
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with loading/unloading procedures
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times
