Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medicines accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Oversee and control the preparation of monitored dosage systems, including medipacks, ensuring they are assembled, checked and completed within required timescales.
- Coordinate medipack workflows, manage changes to patient medication and ensure records are kept accurate and up to date.
- Support the delivery of vaccination services, including COVID-19, flu and private vaccination services.
- Assist with vaccination clinics by preparing equipment, managing patient records, supporting consent processes and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Assist patients with medication queries, providing clear guidance on medicine use and referring clinical questions to the pharmacist where appropriate.
- Manage pharmacy stock by ordering and restocking medicines, checking expiry dates and maintaining correct storage conditions.
- Verify prescription information and ensure all relevant details are accurate before medicines are supplied.
- Prepare labels and support patient-specific dispensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions, patient interactions and pharmacy services in line with regulatory and company requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy colleagues and other healthcare professionals to support safe and seamless patient care.
Pay: £27,262.95-£30,030.00 per year

Experience:
