Job Summary
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS10 area of Leeds for an ASAP start. This full-time role offers ongoing work and a competitive daily rate of £95–£105, depending on experience. The successful candidate will support children within the Nursery provision, helping to deliver engaging early years experiences and ensuring pupils develop the confidence and skills needed for a positive start to their education.

Staff work collaboratively to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, communicate, and develop independence. Responsibilities
- Support Nursery children through play-based learning and structured activities.
- Assist with setting up engaging learning environments and preparing resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour, communication, and social development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and help maintain daily routines.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and development
Experience
- Experience working with Nursery or EYFS-aged children.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of EYFS principles and child development.
- Relevant childcare or early years qualifications would be advantageous.
