Jaydee Fitness CIC is a growing community organisation passionate about improving health, wellbeing and reducing social isolation through fun, inclusive and engaging movement sessions.
We're looking to expand our team by recruiting enthusiastic fitness professionals to join our Support & Emergency Cover Team based at Lewisham Hospital.
This is an ideal opportunity for freelance instructors looking to supplement their existing timetable with flexible work.
About the Role
You'll provide planned support and emergency cover for our wellbeing sessions delivered within Lewisham Hospital.
Depending on the session, you may:
- Lead a wellbeing or movement session.
- Support a lead facilitator.
- Encourage participant engagement.
- Set up and pack away equipment.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Step in to cover sessions when required.

Essential
- Friendly, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Confident working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to work within a hospital environment.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Willingness to complete all mandatory training and induction required.
Desirable
The following qualifications and experience would be an advantage but are not essential:
- ETM (Exercise to Music)
- Zumba
- Level 2 Gym/Fitness Instructor
- Level 3 Personal Trainer
- Yoga, Pilates or another recognised group exercise qualification.
- Experience supporting or delivering community wellbeing, fitness or activity sessions.
