As part of our continued growth, we’re now looking for a Labourer / Waste Operative to join our operational team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you’ll support waste collections, site clearances, and general operational duties across a variety of locations. You’ll work alongside drivers and operational teams to help ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the standards our customers expect.
This role would suit someone reliable, hardworking, and willing to get stuck in as part of a supportive team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting waste collections and clearance works across domestic and commercial properties

Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving waste materials safely and efficiently

Supporting general site clearances, cleaning works, gardening tasks, and labouring duties

Assisting with waste sorting, housekeeping, and general yard duties

Using manual handling equipment and hand tools safely following training

Representing the business professionally when working on customer sites

Following health and safety procedures and maintaining appropriate PPE standards

Supporting operational communication and updates using mobile devices or apps where required
Full training and support will be provided.
About You
You may already have experience in waste management, labouring, removals, construction, logistics, landscaping, facilities management, or another hands-on operational environment, although this is not essential.
What matters most is attitude. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, physically fit, willing to work hard, and able to work well as part of a team. You’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and able to carry out manual handling duties safely.
You’ll also need:
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- A positive and reliable approach to work
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- To be aged 18 or over
