OverviewWe are seeking a hardworking and reliable male Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be an essential part of our kitchen and dining service operation, responsible for efficient food delivery, kitchen auxiliary support, and maintaining smooth daily service. This is a full-time only position, ideal for experienced practitioners or dedicated learners passionate about the hospitality industry. - Promptly and accurately deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to designated dining tables, ensuring correct dish placement and intact food presentation.
- Clear empty tableware, leftover food and dining waste timely after customer meals, maintain clean and tidy dining area and table settings for the next service.
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house teams with daily auxiliary work, including transporting ingredients, tableware and kitchen supplies, and sorting and storing service items.
- Support peak service periods efficiently, cope with fast-paced working conditions, and ensure zero delay in dish delivery and table clearing work.
- Maintain the tidiness and hygiene of the kitchen passage, service aisle and dining area periphery, comply with store hygiene and safety management specifications.
- Cooperate closely with chefs, waiters and kitchen staff to ensure seamless connection of kitchen and dining service, and improve overall service efficiency.
- Follow all workplace health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times to maintain standardised service and kitchen operation procedures.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, with good physical strength to adapt to long-time standing work and frequent handling and transportation of tableware and supplies.
- Full-time position only, part-time applications are not accepted.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English to ensure smooth communication with kitchen staff and customers.
- Previous working experience as a kitchen porter, server or in restaurant/hospitality service is highly preferred; eligible inexperienced candidates with good learning ability are also welcome.
- Familiar with basic kitchen and dining service safety procedures, with awareness of service standardisation and hygiene management.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours, respond quickly and arrange work reasonably.
- Possess strong teamwork awareness, careful working attitude, good adaptability and willingness to learn.
