We are happy to announce vacancies within our transport team at our Go Asphalt depot located in Salford
Working alongside our other Asphalt Tipper drivers and across our sites, you will be at the forefront of making sure that materials are collected and delivered to our depots in Knutsford, Runcorn and Salford. The main role will be delivering Tarmac around the North West of England for clients as and when needed.
Driver requires valid Class 2 licence and CPC; experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided to successful candidate.

· Every other Saturday if required

· Salary: £13.75 per hour
· Valid Class 2 HGV & CPC min 2 years experience
Duties
- Operate tipper lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations.
- Meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies during operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with tipper lorries or similar vehicles.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial transportation.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules and route planning effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
- Experience in delivery driving is highly desirable, along with familiarity with route optimisation software. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to safe driving practices and efficient delivery operations within a professional environment.
