Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Assist customers in the shop with product selection, inquiries, and checkout processes
- Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting, to prepare for delivery or stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area and delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
- Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving, warehouse handling, and customer interactions
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, inventory movements, and customer orders
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks
- Warehouse experience is desirable for handling stock and managing inventory
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools for efficient route planning
- Reliable, punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
