Fabricator / Welder (TIG & MIG) Sheet Metal
£20–£22 per hour (depending on experience and skills)

Our client design and build premium steel and timber structures for residential properties across London. Their projects combine architectural bike stores, bin enclosures, living roofs, and bespoke front-of-house structures that enhance some of London's most attractive streets.
Every build is custom-made. They focus on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and attention to detail from the initial survey through to final installation.
They are a small, highly skilled team with ambitious growth plans, an organised workshop, and a commitment to doing things properly.
The Role
This is not a production-line welding job.
INDTEMP
You'll be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of a project—from workshop fabrication and problem-solving to on-site installations across London. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of your work, and see projects through from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG and MIG welding of steel components and assemblies
- Fabrication using steel sections and folded sheet metal
- Working with laser-cut parts and operating a press brake
- Finishing welds to a high cosmetic standard
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Workshop assembly of bespoke structures
- Assisting with installations across London (typically one day per week, using a company vehicle)
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on varied, bespoke projects.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Hands-on fabrication and welding experience
- Confident reading technical drawings and working accurately to tolerances
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated
- Practical problem-solver with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
