We're looking for a Streetworks Manager – Permits to join our team.
Location: St Austell, Cornwall
Hours: 39.5 hours - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in managing our permit operations, ensuring every streetworks activity is compliant, well-coordinated and delivered to the highest standards. You'll provide essential leadership, technical expertise and support across both advance planning and reactive permitting functions, helping to shape how we work with Highway Authorities and deliver excellent service.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Streetworks Manager – Permits, you'll be working within the permit teams, supporting them in ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing the performance and operation of Advance Planning and Reactive Permit Teams, ensuring adequate resource coverage
- Acting as the primary escalation point for permit issues, disputes and complex compliance matters
- Reviewing and enforcing streetworks processes, policies and statutory requirements to maintain high standards
- Building strong relationships with Highway Authorities and coordinating works effectively
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and providing training and coaching to develop team capabilities
