Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and work surfaces are sanitized and organized at all times
- Support the storage and rotation of ingredients to uphold food safety standards
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to create a safe working environment for everyone
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
