We are seeking an On Call Manager/Field Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within home care.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure all staff provide high-quality care and support to Service Users in their own homes, including personal care, medication assistance and meal preparation.
- To develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with Service Users, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- To support with medical competences, observations of practice, manual handling checks and Spot checks on all Community Home Care staff.
- To support to train new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively and compassionately.
- Willingness to deliver care and support their team out on shift, when necessary.
- To support the Quality Assurance Team with the supervision of a team of carers, ensuring adherence to care plans and the highest standards of care.
- Supporting the Team Lead in completing and updating a weekly rota via the ECM system.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care and support for Service Users.
- To be part of the on-call service, on a rota basis, you will be required to assist with service user related matters, sickness and rota cover management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, including health and safety regulations.
- To undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- To comply with all policies of the organisation, as appropriate.

Hours:
Must be available 6:00am - 22:00pm for on call cover at least 3 days per week. Rota pattern to be discussed upon interview as this may vary.
What you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years care experience, a full induction and on-going training to support you within your role will be provided.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the locations of some our calls.
