Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baby Room Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Supervise and care for babies in a warm, welcoming nursery environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote development in areas such as motor skills, language, and social interaction
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress, routines, and any concerns to ensure continuous care quality
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental milestones
- Lead by example in promoting good behavior, manners, and positive social interactions among children
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organized, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive, supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and exploration
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting, preferably within a nursery or early childhood education environment
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills in supervising young children or supporting team members
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working specifically with infants or babies is highly desirable
- Valid childcare qualifications or certifications aligned with local regulations (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification)

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
