PK Porthcurno is seeking cheerful, welcoming Visitor Services Assistants to join our award-winning team. If you have a passion for people and the enthusiasm to make a difference we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be joining a small, friendly team working across the various visitor-facing areas of the museum. This position will primarily be based in the café and our outdoor catering unit Koffi PK, however flexibility and willingness to work across our museum gift shop and front of house areas will also be welcomed. You will be serving great coffees, cakes and more to our visitors, selling admission tickets and shop merchandise, and getting the chance to share the remarkable story of Porthcurno with people from around the world. Experience is a bonus, but friendliness is more important as full training will be given. Opportunities to work elsewhere in the museum may be available for the right people.
Salary £12.71 per hour.
This role will run from September to the end of October 2026, however there may be potential to pick up spare shifts that arise through the November to March period. You would also then be considered automatically for the recruitment process for Summer 2027.
