We are pleased to be able to offer a full time Trainee Dental Nurse position in our well established family NHS dental practice , with our friendly team.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions, ensuring their comfort and understanding
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes using IT systems
- Ensure all clinical equipment is sterilised, clean, and well-maintained according to health and safety standards
- Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice
- Offer reassurance and support to anxious or nervous patients, fostering a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is advantageous
- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
