Warehouse Operative
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a modern warehouse operation in Daventry. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a leading logistics business, working within a clean, organised, and fast-paced warehouse environment.
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team.
The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading lorries using manual pump trucks.
- Checking and matching serial numbers on paperwork against physical stock.
- Accurately handling and processing goods.
- Ensuring products are moved and stored safely.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy when checking stock.
- Following all warehouse procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.
The Person:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
