Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated Floor Staff members to join our team in providing excellent service at our busy restaurant located on Tynemouth Front Street. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with seating arrangements and provide menu recommendations
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Assist in bartending duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
We are open 7 days a week, serving food from 9am-9pm, so flexibility is key. The advertised role is part-time, and weekend availability is a must. Experience is preferred but not entirely necessary, however full training will be provided. Come be part of our amazing team!
