Objective
The Service Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling Field Service Engineers to ensure efficient and timely service delivery across the UK. The role acts as the central point of communication between customers, engineers, and internal departments, ensuring that service requests are managed professionally and that operational performance meets customer expectations.
By organising engineer schedules, monitoring service activities, and maintaining accurate records, the Service Planner plays a vital role in minimizing equipment downtime and supporting healthcare providers in delivering uninterrupted patient care.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling Field Service Engineers across the UK in the most efficient manner.
- Managing incoming service requests, breakdowns, and customer enquiries.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service appointments and updates.
- Coordinating engineer availability, travel, and workload to optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitoring service response times and ensuring contractual service levels are achieved.
- Maintaining accurate planning records, service documentation, and administrative data.
- Liaising closely with engineers, management, and other internal departments to ensure smooth service operations.
- Identifying scheduling conflicts and proactively resolving planning issues.
- Supporting continuous improvement of planning processes and service delivery.
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the complete service process.
- Flexibility to support other departments or administrative tasks when required.

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
