Krum Gelato opened in 2023 in the heart of Chester (The Cross), created by Fabrizio and Valentina, who previously led Da Noi Chester and Augusto Pizzeria to become some of the most recognised names in the local food scene.
Since opening, Krum has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting rising businesses in the area, recognised with the highest 3-star Great Taste Award and 5 stars at the Golden Scoop Awards (ICA).
Everything we do is made in-house, using top-quality ingredients, local dairy, and recipes developed with Italian specialists. Alongside our signature flavours, we keep things fresh with a constantly evolving seasonal selection.
Who we’re looking for
After a strong start to the season and now open 7 days a week, we have now recruited the majority of our staff but we need one more full time employee.
We’re looking for people who:
- Take pride in what they do
- Enjoy working with customers
- Are reliable, detail-focused, and positive
- Can work independently but also thrive in a team
- Can sustain very busy shifts
Experience in gelato, ice cream, or hospitality is great (1+ year preferred), but we’re happy to train the right person.
What you’ll be doing
- Serving customers and keeping the energy high during busy periods
- Learning and sharing our product story
- Using the till/EPOS system
- Restocking and keeping everything running smoothly
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Supporting opening and closing shifts
Bonus points if you have barista experience.
