THE TEAM
The Operations Schedule Planning team sits within Operational Planning and plays a vital role in shaping easyJet’s future flying programme. Working closely with Scheduling and operational teams across the business, the team ensures that our commercial flight schedules are safe, operationally feasible and cost efficient.
As part of this team, you will help coordinate future schedule activities, support operational readiness and contribute to the development of resilient schedules that deliver a great experience for our customers and colleagues.
THE ROLE
As an Operations Schedule Planning Officer, you will support the design and validation of easyJet’s future flight schedules, ensuring they are operationally achievable, compliant and efficient. Working closely with Operations Schedule Analysts and operational stakeholders, you will help translate performance modelling outputs into practical solutions that support safe and reliable operations.
Key responsibilities include:
> Coordinating new route and new network point safety processes.
> Testing and validating future network scenarios and schedule feasibility studies.
> Supporting schedule validation activities, ensuring safety compliance and agreeing mitigation plans where required.
> Designing and maintaining crew pairing frameworks to support legality, fatigue management, efficiency and reliability.
> Assessing and influencing line of flying design to improve operational resilience and reduce disruption costs.
> Validating future fleet plans to ensure operational feasibility.
> Providing operational stakeholders with the schedule data they need to support readiness and planning activities.
> Coordinating non-standard operational activities, including night stops, crew slipping and the introduction of new aircraft types.
> Reviewing and responding to schedule-related safety reports.
> Gathering operational feedback and supporting improvements in future schedules.
> Researching and developing initiatives that enhance operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements of the Role
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a highly organised and analytical individual who enjoys working with data and collaborating across teams to solve operational challenges.
You’ll bring:

> Good working knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

Desirable experience:
> Operational planning experience.
> Experience using data modelling to support business performance improvements.
> Knowledge of pairings optimisation, OTP forecasting tools, MS SQL Studio or Tableau.

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
