Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our construction environment, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the site.
- Organise materials and ensure they are readily available for tradespeople, minimizing downtime.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Operate basic site machinery and tools (e.g., compactors, breakers, trenchers) where trained and permitted.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain high standards of quality.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in groundworks or general construction labouring.
- Full UK driving license .
- Familiarity with construction codes, health and safety regulations, and building standards.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential.
- We are looking for someone that lives in the local area, within 20 mins of Kettering. We are not able to support any visa applications.
