ABOUT THE ROLE.
- Prepare hot and cold meals
- Ensure that all food is presented for service in a timely manner and in the correct sequence
- Maintain the pot wash area and ensure the chefs have the required items in a timely manner
- Train and develop to deliver the food to a high standard
- Ensure all food is stored safely and at the correct legal temperatures.
- Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
- Serve all customers in a polite and friendly manner
- To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and restaurant to promote a safe working environment
Essential requirements:
- Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
- Experience of kitchen equipment
- Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives

The kitchen is operational 7 days a week.
