The Cause is an award winning, fully independent, dance music institution that has spawned several off-spin hospitality venues across London, including pubs, bars, record shops and more.

ABOUT THE MARQUEE MOON
This particular project, though still keeping music at its heart, has a more prominent focus on food & beverage. Cocktails, natural wines and an in-house kitchen offering, all paired with refined musical selections from some of the most esteemed diggers around.
Whilst this project will still also involve a late-night offering, with music playing a big part, this is not a night club - spread across two distinct areas in the heart of Dalston, housed in a historic pub building.
We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our team and turn this project into a financially & culturally successful weekly operation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The bar staff main task is delivering exceptional service, mixing cocktails and serving beverages, taking food orders and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
You will be reporting to the venue Assistant Managers and General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Learning cocktails recipes, bar and food products, offering recommendations and taking pride in our offer.
● Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
● Re-stock bar and floor areas, keep then clean and tidy following the venue standards.
● Communicate confidently with customers, team and managers.
● Act to minimise and report wastage.
● Follow company policy and H&S procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
● Two years of bartending experience minimum.
● Passionate about music and service industry.
● Working knowledge on alcoholic and not alcoholic beverages.
● Background in high volume cocktail bars is preferred, training is provided.
SALARY
● Up to £16ph
