Role Overview
As a Front of House Waiter, you will be responsible for providing impeccable service, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish. You will work closely with the restaurant management and kitchen teams to uphold the highest standards of service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Present menus, offer detailed descriptions of dishes, and make informed recommendations
- Accurately take and process orders while ensuring timely and efficient service
- Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings and daily specials
- Ensure tables and service areas are impeccably set and maintained throughout service
- Handle guest requests and complaints with grace, discretion, and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upper-end restaurant
- Exceptional attention to detail and presentation
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, confident, and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods
