Marketing Executive
East Kilbride, Scotland
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and E-Commerce team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting marketing communications, campaigns and events across the UK and Europe with the opportunity to grow within the role.
We are looking for someone who is organised, has excellent written and verbal skills, is proactive and keen to develop their marketing career within the renewables industry.
You may already have some marketing experience through a previous role and be looking for the next step in your career.
The Role
You will support the delivery of marketing activity across multiple channels, helping to ensure communications and events are delivered successfully to support our wider commercial objectives. This will include supporting campaigns, events, training sessions and day-to-day marketing operations. You will work closely with the sales teams, our brand partners and external suppliers.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing Communications
· Deliver UK marketing communications in line with the marketing plans
· Support marketing communications for the rest of Europe in English
· Produce promotional copy and manage the day-to-day operations and scheduling for campaigns including: social media, direct email marketing, online content.
· Work with the head of marketing and sales managers to align campaign messaging and priority brands
· Support co-marketing activities with CCL manufacturer partners
· Help coordinate manufacturer marketing materials and campaign assets
· Communicate campaign activity and promotions to account managers and sales teams
· Work with the internal sales and account managers to build and enrich our customer data
Events & Training – Supporting CCL & Manufacturer Training Sessions, Roadshows & Customer Events
· Research and book venues and caterers
· Work with external suppliers and contractors to support event delivery
· Set up registrations and invitations, track attendee numbers and communicate those with account managers
· Communicate with customers before and after events, including invitations, reminders, follow-up communications and surveys
· Organise event materials and giveaways and coordinate product samples and demonstration units from manufacturers
· Assist with stand planning and event logistics where required
· Assist with venue set-up and operational activities during the event
Creative Support
· Work with our brand manager to produce marketing assets in line with CCL and brand partner brand guidelines.
Reporting
· Assist with quarterly marketing reporting & financial tracking for marketing activities and events
· Gather reporting data and examples for brand partner reports
Skills & Experience
· Degree or professional qualification in marketing or a related subject preferred
· Previous marketing experience beneficial
· Strong written communication skills
· Good organisational skills and attention to detail
· Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
· Willingness to learn about renewable energy technologies and B2B marketing
· Confident working with different teams and stakeholders
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Experience with email marketing, scheduling and design tools beneficial but not essential
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
