Duties
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks
- Supporting clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times
- Helping with meal preparation, serving and support
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and updating care plans regularly
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with household tasks to promote a comfortable living environment
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Supporting clients to appointments or outings when required
- Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- This role requires registration with SSSC
