Duties
- Assist orthodontists during patient consultations, procedures, and adjustments to ensure smooth clinical operations
- Prepare patients for treatment by taking accurate dental scans , photographs, and medical imaging.
- Apply orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers with precision and care
- Manage patient records meticulously, documenting treatment progress and updating digital charts regularly
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
- Support the use of medical imaging technologies to assess dental structures and plan effective treatment strategies
- Maintain a sterile clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to orthodontics, including X-rays and 3D scan
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of all ages
