IN-UNIT CLEANING TECHNICIAN – PART-TIME / FLEXIBLE HOURS
Rainbow Restoration – Newton Abbot
We are looking for a reliable, careful and hard-working In-Unit Cleaning Technician to join our team at our Newton Abbot unit.
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours and could suit someone looking for work that fits around family commitments, school hours or other responsibilities.
The Role
Working within our specialist cleaning unit, you will help process, clean and care for customers' belongings following incidents such as fire, flood or other property damage.
Your duties may include:
- Carefully unpacking customers' contents and belongings on arrival
- Accurately identifying, photographing, labelling and logging items within our digital systems
- Cleaning and restoring a variety of household and personal items
- Laundry, including washing, drying and folding
- Sorting and organising contents throughout the cleaning process
- Carefully packing and protecting cleaned items ready for storage or return to the customer
- Ensuring items are correctly matched, labelled and accounted for throughout the process
- Keeping work and cleaning areas tidy, organised and safe
- Assisting other members of the team when required
We are trusted with customers' personal possessions, often at a difficult time for them, so care, accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important.
Full training will be provided, so previous specialist cleaning experience is not essential.

Hours
Part-time with flexible working hours.
We are open to discussing working patterns to suit the right person. This could be particularly suitable for someone looking for school-hours work or other flexible part-time hours.
