Pharmacist Manager – Community Pharmacy (Independent Family-Run Group)

We are an independent, family-run group of community pharmacies with a strong reputation for excellent patient care and community-focused service. We’re looking for a Pharmacist Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of one of our pharmacies and lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding healthcare.
About the Role
As Pharmacist Manager, you will:
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring the safe, legal, and effective running of the pharmacy.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the pharmacy team, fostering a positive, supportive, and professional working environment.
- Oversee the accurate checking and dispensing of prescriptions in line with GPhC standards and company SOPs.
- Drive the delivery and development of NHS and private services within the pharmacy.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GP practices, and other local healthcare providers.
- Represent the pharmacy within the local community and support business growth initiatives.
Experience in delivering NHS services, private services (e.g. Weight Loss or Travel Clinic), and COVID & Flu vaccinations is desirable but not essential. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a GPhC-registered Pharmacist.
- Has experience working in a community pharmacy, with management or supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
- Is confident in taking responsibility and making decisions in a busy environment.
- Has strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Is patient-focused, approachable, and professional at all times.
- Is motivated to develop pharmacy services and grow the business.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
