What you'll be doing
- Serving customers at the till and processing cash, card, and contactless payments quickly and accurately
- Greeting every customer with a warm, professional welcome
- Handling refunds, exchanges, and receipts in line with store procedures
- Cashing up and balancing your till at the start and end of shifts
- Answering customer queries and pointing people in the right direction
- Keeping the till area clean, stocked, and well presented
- Lending a hand with opening and closing routines as part of the team rota
Who we're looking for
You don't need cashier or retail experience — we'll teach you everything. What matters is that you're:
- Reliable and punctual, with real pride in your work
- Friendly, approachable, and a clear communicator
- Comfortable with numbers and confident handling all payment types accurately
- Calm under pressure when queues build up
- Happy on your feet during busy shifts
- Available Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekend cover on a rota
Hours
- Core hours: Monday to Friday
- Weekends: Required on a rota basis — we'll discuss the details at interview
- Full-time and part-time applications both welcome
