Hours: 2.5 hours per day, evenings from 7:00pm, term time only
Contract: Part-time
We are looking for a reliable and conscientious School Cleaner to join our team at a friendly village school near NN11 6UF.
Job Summary
The Village School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are hygienic, well-maintained, and welcoming. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work to contribute to a positive educational setting. The role requires attention to detail, organisation, and a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one)
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- References will be required
- Due to the rural location, applicants will generally need their own transport
- Ability to work independently and take pride in delivering a high standard of work
