vServices Ltd is seeking for a junior Software Engineer for our IT services and products. The candidate will be expected to work on developing and maintaining unique products whilst using high volume back end software and hardware to provide clean, scalable code to our clients.
Education – Minimum of a BSc. in Computer Science
Experience – At least 2 years of commercial experience developing code in C#. Candidates with experience in python, ruby, C++, JavaScript, jQuerry and/or SQL or non SQL databases (MongoDb, CouchDb etc) shall be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
To develop software infrastructure for global roll out of installations.
To develop complicated algorithms based on advanced mathematical knowledge.
To develop and integrate machine vision techniques for next generation services.
To create “big data” databases based on information from thousands of sites world wide.
To work on hardware and software interface and pure software application development.
Competencies
Knowledge of PHP development, LAMP and MEAN stack
Experience of Agile development methodology
Know how of N-unit testing, UML, MatLab and use of version control software (SVN, GIT etc.)
Complete familiarization with Image Processing techniques
Knowledge of ASP.NET and MVC5
