Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately handle incoming refurbished IT equipment and components, ensuring proper placement within the warehouse.
- Safely operate mobile order picker, pallet trucks, forklift and other equipment to move and store items as required. (training will be provided)
- Utilise inventory management systems to track and record stock movements and locations.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure compliance with company safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Perform inventory checks ensuring stock is accurate and placed in the best location.
- Work closely with other warehouse team members to maintain an organised and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in putaway or inventory management.
- Good understanding of IT parts and components.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Safety-conscious and committed to following established protocols.
