The Bobbin is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and driven Team Leader to join our management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Aberdeen's busiest pubs, located opposite the University of Aberdeen and just minutes from Pittodrie Stadium.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading shifts and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supporting, coaching and motivating the team to perform at their best.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance.
- Supporting stock management, waste control and maximising sales opportunities.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Training and developing new and existing team members.
- Ensuring all licensing, health & safety and food safety procedures are followed.
- Working closely with the management team to achieve business goals.
- Taking responsibility for the venue in the absence of senior management.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or in a similar hospitality role.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High standards of professionalism, reliability and attention to detail.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
Essential Requirements
- Full flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and busy event days.
- Availability to work a full-time rota, including late-night finishes.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
- Experience making high-quality coffees and using a commercial coffee machine (barista skills are an advantage but not essential).
- Experience managing or creating content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Confidence taking photos and videos to promote food, drinks, events and venue activities.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut or similar content creation software.
- Knowledge of stock control and ordering.
- Cellar management experience.
- Personal Licence Holder qualification (preferred but not essential).
- First Aid qualification (desirable).
