Job Description
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and providing excellent service to guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Room Preparation
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to company standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as required.
- Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures.
- Replenish guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
Quality Standards
- Ensure all rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conduct final checks of assigned areas before reporting them as clean.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and service standards.
Inventory & Equipment
- Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment in good condition.
- Monitor supplies and report low stock levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
Communication & Reporting
- Report maintenance issues, damages, lost property, and safety hazards promptly.
- Update the Housekeeping Supervisor on room status and completed tasks.
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Health & Safety
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Comply with company policies and housekeeping standards.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
