Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our on-site team in Kingston Upon Thames. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, preparing and analysing financial statements, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will also supervise junior staff, manage budgets, support tax filings, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
- Extensive experience with Tax Preparation and Compliance
- Strong skills in Audit Management and understanding of Accounting Standards
- 3 Years minimum experience in mentoring and managing junior accounting staff
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is required
- Hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally in an accounting or financial services firm
