Are you passionate about fresh food, high standards and developing your career in a busy professional kitchen? Reigate Manor Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team.
Reigate Manor is a long-established independent hotel in Surrey with 50 bedrooms, six versatile function suites, a busy lounge bar and restaurant, and a thriving weddings and events business. As we continue to invest in our kitchen, equipment and food offering, we're building a fresh-food operation centred around quality, consistency and teamwork.
Working alongside an experienced Head Chef and Sous Chef, you'll take ownership of your section while developing your skills across weddings, conferences, private events and restaurant dining.
About You
You'll have experience as a Chef de Partie or be a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step. You'll enjoy working with fresh ingredients, be organised and reliable, and take pride in producing consistently high-quality food.
You'll thrive in a busy kitchen, work well as part of a supportive team and be keen to continue developing your skills within an ambitious and evolving food operation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Run your section efficiently, maintaining excellent quality and consistency.
- Prepare, cook and present fresh, scratch-made dishes to a high standard.
- Support weddings, conferences, banqueting, private events and restaurant service.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef during preparation and service.
- Ensure consistency in recipes, portion control and presentation.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP, health & safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with stock rotation, waste reduction and the organisation of your section.
- Support junior team members where required and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
- Ensure your section is clean, organised and service-ready at all times.
